The Chophouse opened in November 2010 and Lucinda wanted to evoke the atmosphere of an old London Chophouse whilst retaining the warmth and character of one of the Cotswolds oldest and most historic Inns.  Even now, the restaurant maintains many original features such as oak flooring and medieval windows.

In the Chophouse, we pride ourselves with the use of local meats to produce some of the finest steaks on the bone, chops and cutlets and some wonderful fishmongers allowing for delicious whole grilled fish and shelled dishes and in our area rich in pheasant , deer, partridge and hare, who could ignore chef’s delicious game dishes.

Our Chef, Jason Hyatt sources all ingredients from the UK and usually within the Cotswold borders and ensure that all foods are harvested with care and consideration for our beautiful British environment.
