Please note due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic we have taken government guidance and incorporated the following restrictions, polices & guidance to our business in order to protect our customers and staff:
Current Restrictions and Information
- Overnight stays at the hotel or in cottages are only permitted with your own household or support bubble according to government guidance.
- You MUST not enter the building or attend your reservation if you are displaying symptoms of Coronavirus
- Room ONLY reservations between 12th April – 16th May are on a purely self catering, self check in basis in one of our outside, private access cottage rooms. Staff will not be present on site and our pub/restaurant shall be closed during this time.
- Table reservations are only permitted for ONE household or support bubble.
- In support of the ‘Rule of Six’ law, we are no longer accepting entry of groups more than 6 people anywhere on the premises. This also means that we cannot split groups of more than 6 over different tables. This is only applicable where government restrictions apply.
- Strictly SEATING, TABLE SERVICE & ONLINE ORDERING ONLY
- Face coverings must be worn whilst you are not seated at your table. This includes upon entrance, exit using the loo’s and moving around the public spaces of the hotel.
- Moving furniture is strictly prohibited

- Please note that we are currently limiting table usage times to 1 hour 45 minutes when eating a meal, and 1 hour if drinking only.
- By law, upon entry you will be required to check in for ‘TEST AND TRACE’ with your details. Either by ordering online, scanning our QR code or visiting https://visitsafe.at/thekingsarms
- No vertical drinking
- Contactless/Card payments preferred
- One way ‘Entry and Exit’ system in operation
- We are adhering to Government operations and safe social distancing guidelines with fewer tables and less capacity
- We have reviewed and improved our hygiene and cleaning policies & procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- COVID-19 specific risk assessments have been carried out, and controls in place
- We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m social distance where possible
- Where people cannot be 2m apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk
